EPIC® CLAIMS FIRST CLAIMS FIRST MAJOR AT U.S. SENIOR OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

Memphis, TN…Mounting the second largest final-round comeback in Champions Tour history, the Champion relied on the revolutionary Nanofuse™ construction of Grafalloy Epic to claim the first major championship of his career at the U.S. Senior Open.  Trusting Epic in his driver, the Champion averaged 287.1 yards per drive and led the field in greens in regulation in route to a final-round 68 despite the blustery conditions at the demanding Whistling Straits course in Kohler, WS.  This marks his second win with Epic in the bag having captured the Regions Charity Classic in May.  Epic’s success was not limited to the Champions Tour as there were 10 in play at this week’s Legend Financial Group Classic on the Nationwide Tour.
