GRAFALLOY EPIC® WINS ALFRED DUNHILL LINKS CHAMPIONSHIP ON EUROPEAN TOUR
OCTOBER 10, 2007

Memphis, TN...On a trio of links style courses over which the combination of accuracy and distance are hugely rewarded,
the winner of the European Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Fife, Scotland used Epic by Grafalloy in his driver to
work his way around the three courses in eighteen under par for a two-stroke victory. The hard earned win marked the
second European Tour victory for the champion and was an impressive achievement for the young golfer.
“With a win at Whistling Straits earlier this year, and this weeks’ success at St. Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarn, the real
strengths of the Epic shaft technology have been on display,” comments Chad Hall, Senior Director Sales and Tour
Operations. “With Nanofuse, we have introduced an entirely new material into golf shaft design that offers the advantages of
both steel and graphite into one unique technology. Plain and simple the ball flies as far as traditional graphite, but on a
demonstrably straighter line. It is no accident we have had great success on courses where driving the ball long and straight
are such a premium.”
The test results speak for themselves. Through extensive robotic and player test data, Epic has shown to produce not only
increased distance off the tee, but also delivers a 35% improvement in shot dispersion when compared to graphite shafts on
the market today. This combined improvement in distance and accuracy results in as much as 15-20 yards closer to the pin
off the tee. Additional information is available at www.epicshaft.com.
