MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Grafalloy continued to demonstrate its leadership role in the graphite shaft industry with a victory at this week’s PODS Championship and the shaft brand’s third consecutive driver shaft victory on the PGA Tour. The Champion at the PODS played a Grafalloy ProLaunch Red shaft in his driver, winning for the 13th time and topping $20 million for his career.
In the two weeks prior to the PODS Championship, Grafalloy Blue and Tour X shafts posted wins at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship and The Honda Classic, respectively. The three-straight PGA Tour wins, plus another victory by the ProLaunch Red on the European Tour recently, have shown Grafalloy’s wide variety of winning shaft designs.
“We’re pleased to chalk up another victory for Grafalloy,” says Chad Hall, director of marketing for True Temper. “ProLaunch Red, Blue and Tour X are all great examples of Grafalloy’s state-of-the-art technology and of the brand’s depth on the pro tours.”
Grafalloy shafts incorporate high-modulus carbon fiber material and combine cutting-edge designs with proprietary technologies to produce the finest shafts in the game today. The development of proprietary Micro-Mesh™ tip technology is just one example of Grafalloy’s leadership in the industry.
