Grafalloy ProLaunch Red Adds Major Title To List Of Accomplishments
Shaft Captures JELD-WEN Tradition And Claims Top Two Spots On Nationwide Tour

August 28, 2006

M Memphis , TN…ProLaunch Red continued its assault on the world of professional golf this past weekend capturing multiple titles on the Champions and Nationwide Tours. At the final Champions Tour major of the year, the JELD-WEN Tradition champion, armed with ProLaunch Red in his driver, fired a final-round 65 to force a sudden-death playoff. He then finished off the championship with a 2-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole to claim his first Champions Tour victory and earn a coveted exemption for the 2007 season.

On the Nationwide Tour, ProLaunch Red was found in the drivers of both players in the sudden-death playoff at the National Mining Association Pete Dye Classic in West Virginia . During the final round, the eventual champion displayed laser-like accuracy off the tee hitting 13 of 14 fairways, leading to birdies on three of the last four holes to force the playoff. He then drained an 8-footer for par on the opening hole of sudden death to capture his first Nationwide Tour title over the current leader in both scoring average and total driving.

The victories at the JELD-WEN Tradition and National Mining Association Pete Dye Classic mark the 6 th and 7 th professional titles the shaft has captured in the past 6 weeks.

"It's been a long time since a shaft has been introduced and experienced a run of victories like this," states Craig Nichols , Grafalloy Tour Representative. "The demand for ProLaunch Red continues to build weekly among players who have yet to test the design. They are seeing the success that other players are experiencing and want to give the shaft a try."
